If your thought is "meri bike bechni hai" but you don't want to stand at the bike market every weekend, selling online is the quickest way to reach serious buyers. Here is how to prepare your bike and your ad so it sells quickly and safely.
1. Get your documents ready
- Original registration book or smart card, and your CNIC.
- Token tax paid up to date — buyers often ask for the latest receipt.
- No pending e-challans. Unpaid fines can hold up the transfer, so clear them first. We can check and pay e-challans at our office.
- The original purchase invoice or sale certificate, if you still have it.
2. Clean the bike and fix small problems
A washed bike with a fresh oil change looks cared for. Small fixes such as a working indicator, a horn or a new brake shoe cost little but remove easy reasons for a buyer to bargain the price down.
3. Take photos that sell
Shoot in daylight after cleaning the bike. Take the front, the back, both sides, the meter reading and the number plate. Ads with clear, honest photos get far more calls than ads with a single dark picture.
4. Set a realistic price
Look at similar used bikes for sale of the same model, year and condition, and check the current new price of the same model (for example the Honda CD 70 or United US 70). Ask a little above your lowest acceptable price if you are open to negotiation, and mark the ad as negotiable.
5. Write an honest description
Mention the model year, kilometres on the meter, condition, whether the file is complete, whether the engine has ever been opened, and anything that needs work. Honest ads attract buyers who are ready to pay, and avoid wasted visits.
6. Post a free ad on Jahangir Motors
Our Sell Your Bike page takes a few minutes with a free account. You can take up to 5 photos with your phone camera or pick them from your gallery, add the bike details and set your price. Your ad goes live on the used bikes marketplace straight away, your phone number stays hidden until a buyer taps "Show phone number", and you can change the price, mark the bike as sold or delete the ad any time from My Account.
7. Meet buyers safely
Meet in a public place during the day, go with a friend, and do not hand over the keys for a test ride without keeping the buyer's CNIC or a guarantee. Count cash carefully, or wait until a bank transfer has actually arrived before handing over the bike and documents.
8. Complete the transfer
Until the bike is transferred out of your name, traffic challans and legal problems involving the bike can come back to you. Complete the transfer with the buyer — including biometric verification — rather than handing over an open file. Our bike transfer service can do this for both of you in one visit.
When the deal is done, open your private ad link and mark the bike as sold so buyers stop calling.
